Legal Counsel

We are entering a new phase and are looking for a Legal Counsel.Key responsibilities:Advise on a variety of areas ranging from financial services, intellectual property, data privacy, employment, AML/KYC, corporate and other regulatory matters;Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of agreements to support our internal stakeholders and our purchase of software and services from vendors, including SaaS, NDAs, cloud & technology or professional service contracts;Support the Legal Team in providing practical, decisive guidance to our business teams that balances business objectives with legal risk, taking into account our company policies and negotiation positions;Manage day-to-day legal support to our internal stakeholders in a multijurisdictional company, including Latvia, UK and Singapore;Providing input on processes and policies to help scale the organization and make our team more effective and efficient;Developing the company;s knowledge in areas of special interest, including preparing summaries or reports on upcoming regulations, wiki pages, etc.;Prepare, draft or review a wide variety of documents, such as board resolutions, notices, letters, templates.Qualifications:Minimum of 2+ years of relevant in-house legal or law firm experience;Fluent in English and Latvian;Experience in drafting, negotiating and reviewing commercial contracts;Previous experience in financial services law and regulatory matters;Some knowledge and curiosity of a wide variety of areas, including corporate, employment, Intellectual Property, consumer protection and data protection;Able to communicate in a clean, concise and in a manner that is digestible; to non-lawyers;Enjoys working in teams and working side-by-side with great specialists to achieve a common goal;Self-driven, solution-oriented and diligent;Curious, open-minded, multi-jurisdictional and progressive mindset.What's in it for you:A dynamic, ambitious work environment that values innovation, performance, and quality;Competitive monthly gross compensation package starting from 3000 EUR (depending on your experience and competencies);Feeling of being valued at work;Supportive and caring leadership;Stack of work equipment from Apple as our hardware of choice;Extra 3 paid days off per quarter for personal time & sick days to boost productivity;Birthday off. As a startup, every member of our team plays a critical role in shaping our journey and success.We are entering a new phase and are looking for a;Personal Assistant.Key responsibilities:Management of the daily work schedule, supervision, and coordination of all appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements;Help with organizing household chores;Assist with personal tasks and responsibilities, including family matters, appointments, and special projects.
